May 11, 2018  Directed by Vince Marcello. With Joey King, Jacob Elordi, Joel Courtney, Megan du Plessis. A high school student is forced to confront her secret crush at a kissing booth. Cute romance. The Kissing Booth is a sweet story that would probably appeal more to teens. It's summer, and for Rochelle and her best friend Lee, that means one thing: The beach house. They've spent every summer of their lives there, but things are different this year. No! This can’t be over! I need more! Noah, Lee and Elle, I’m going to miss you! They were more than simple characters in a book. They were almost real to me. I loved these two stories about the three of them. And I want another book. And I’m disappointed because Beth wrote on Wattpad that there will not be another book about them. I mean... why not?! These characters deserve more! 😞
P. S. This novella needs a movie! Just saying.

Read this after watching the movie The Kissing Booth, and needing a little more. If you loved the movie, don't read this. It ruins the story and overall it just kind of... sucked.
This isn’t actually a sequel as the events of this novella happen during the same time The Kissing Booth is set.
While it was nice to have a little more of these characters, nothing much happens. I found myself wishing I hadn’t read it because I didn’t really enjoy where Reekles took the story.
This is a continuation of The Kissing Booth and it just wasn't good...

0.5/5 stars.
Absolutely nothing important happens in this book. It just goes into more detail on the beach holiday they had at the end of the book 'The Kissing Booth'. That's it. No character development or anything interesting happens. The same old nonsense just keeps repeating throughout the book.

To be honest, I haven't read the first book...but I watched the movie and wanted more of the characters so when I found this, I couldn't resist.
I'm not sure what I expected but I can't even say this is what I wanted. I don't know how this compares to the first book (see reason above) but I wanted more time between Elle and Noah. That's what I wanted to see, and I got very little of that. Add in the events of the Truth or Dare and well....I didn't love this. I just thought the events that happen

I wanted a bit more after the movie, but didn’t feel like jumping right to the book.
I was so dissapointed by this... it adds nothing to the story, it doesn’t even closes their stories. If you wanted to see what happens when Noah goes to college, you won’t find the answers here it ends the same way

Awesome, but it doesn't feel like it's finished. Maybe having a book following this one would be better.
Anyway, outstanding.

DNF WITH ONLY 4 WATTPAD SHORT CHAPTERS LEFT!!!
You know that shit bored the ever loving fuck out of me when I don't push through and try to finish a book with only a little bit left. Seriously, it would have only been like 15-20 mins reading tops, and I just couldn't bring myself to do it.
The plot was wandering and is entirely unnecessary to overall story. It just goes into more detail about the beach holiday that takes place at the end of The Kissing Booth, and you learn pretty much nothing new

cute cute cute cute fluffy read. liked it alot. no substance and practically nothing was resolved even tho a problem was introduced (basically was like 'oh no whats gonna happen after this' every five pages but the ending was literally 'i guess we'll just see what happens and not worry about it') but it was still fluffy and cute. more happened with the friendship instead of the romantic relationship and i was like why. but oh well

I read this for free in Wattpad, and if I could give it six stars I would.
Since watching the film of the kissing booth in Netflix, I just haven't been able to get enough of Noah and Elle.
I just wished, wished and hope that Beth decides to write some more about them.
How do I read books on this site and is it the whole book or just a sample?
Well, I like more the first book. It is not bad but not good enough either.
I love the realationship between Elle and Lee, it's realy fantastic! I didn't like the kiss part because they are BBF, like brothers! And also the part that they are brothers in law.... so, it wasn't possible.
I would like to read more about Elle and Noah, it was supposed to be their time while the situation changes.
I hope, like many readers hope, that we are going to read a next book.
I really enjoyed it and nothing major happened in that either, it was just nice easy reading. There were more cute romantic things in there and it was just like an extra chapter that had been missed out of The Kissing Booth. I actually loved Elle getting a cold at the end because I was in bed with a cold when I read it and I was like whoo life story. It feels very normal and relatable to read Beth Reekles writing. I reckon everything she writes could actually be true events.
The only reason I read this book is because of the kissing booth :)

You really have to read The Kissing Booth first to fully get this novella. It is a short story that highlights the annual trip to Lee & Noah's beach house the summer before Noah leaves. (Quick background if you haven't read The Kissing Booth: Noah is Lee's older brother and Elle's boyfriend. Lee is Elle's best friend.) Will this be where the movie takes us? A summer break? Who knows. Even though I was not a huge fan of how they changed Elle in the movie. I still have to check it out. ...more

This is a sequel to the Neflix book-turned-movie 'The Kissing Booth'. I, however, have never seen the movie or read the book, but the summary/plot of this short story made me want to check this out, and it was at a cheap price.
Taking place after the events of the book/movie, Elle and her best friend, Lee, and his brother/Elle's new boyfriend Noah are heading to their usual summer vacation spot: Lee/Noah's family's beach house. But is this the summer things might get weird now that Noah and Elle

The book is a sequel to the book 'The Kissing Booth'. It is only published on wattpad and is just supposed to be a small short story that takes place in the summer after the Noah and Elle come out as a couple to everyone. It has no plot and no basis and just repeated the same topic of Elle being confused and sad about her boyfriend leaving for college to go across the country. In this book, there is nothing discussed, nothing is solved and again no epilogue and no conclusion. So basically, I wou...more

I got to like chapter twelve and (spoiler alert) there's a game of truth or dare and Lee is dared to kiss Elle and I just couldn't read past that, I couldn't see where that went. I like Noah and Elle together too much. I liked that a girl could have a guy best friend and just be best friends without it going somewhere else, like most stories do. I liked the tingly feelings she had whenever she saw Noah or touched Noah. The fact that there is a minor kiss between Elle and Lee just ruined ev

In this Kissing Booth novella we spend the summer following Elle and Noah along with her best friend and of course, Noah's brother, Lee as they stay with Noah and Lee's parents at their beach house, but when Noah how to look at his new college and Lee's girlfriend Emily goes home, a game of dates on the beach takes a turn when Elle and Lee get dared to kiss...
A great transition between the two novels this book bridges the gap and gives us a fun summer beach read.
This book is kinda like a dream the happiness summer vacation beach house it's a dream that everyone wanna have. Things might be changing at the end but they will always gonna have those memories they have spend on the beach house.
When ever I finished a book I kinda get a little depressed and then starts reading a new book 😅😅
At least I always gonna have my book. 🙂
I'd say 2.5 stars. It wasn't awful, but not particularly good either. It was just kinda dull. Elle constantly mentioned how awesome the beach house was, but when they were there I never got that vibe. The book really just felt like a lot of lead up to nothing with no goal or anything, but it did have a couple cute moments I suppose.
After watching the kissing booth a thousand times I found out about this book, I’m in Love I need more. I connected with this book because I had a crush on my best friends brother for a while but got over it, he’s leaving for high school now and I got 2 years left of middle school. So if you watched the kissing booth and need an aftermath of drama and romance this book is perfect.

Read this after watching the movie The Kissing Booth, and wanted a little more.
I enjoyed the first few chapters but still it doesn't have an ending just like the movie and the only reason i wanted to read it to know what happens between Noah and Elle , so if you just want a little more about them read it if you looking for an ending then skip it .
A short novella but still full of cute romantic moments. It was cool getting to see a hidden part of ‘the kissing booth’ that some other readers might not know about. Even though it was shorter I enjoyed it just as much since I knew the characters and had a feel of the atmosphere. This one was a bit more centered around friendship but don’t worry there’s still lovey dovey scenes.
Actually, this little novella for the Kissing Booth was better than the book. The scene are more realistic and Elle’s...Shelly’s...Rochelle’s thoughts are more developed. Yes, I did super speed read through the novella, but felt left hanging by not truly have Elle and Noah have their true talk about their relationship when he goes off to Harvard.

Short. But can't wait for the Kissing Booth 2 to come out to both read and watch on Netflix. Was amazed to learn that this was the brainchild of a 15 year old at the time. Kudos to Reekles I expect greater things from you in time to come.
