I'll preface this with, This is a homelab issue using damned dirty consumer level hardware and I'm a linux admin using Windows (Windows 7 Home for that matter!).

So I feel like an idiot right now, I'm trying for the life of me to work out how to get multiple VLANs on one NIC (onboard Atheros ar8161/8165) but I can't work out how, there are no options in device > properties, the official drivers don't seem to add any options either.

View and Download StarTech.com USB21000S instruction manual online. USB Network Adapter 1-Port USB 2.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Network Adapter. USB21000S Adapter pdf manual download. Buy StarTech USB21000S2 USB 2.0 Network Adapter with fast shipping and top-rated customer service. Once you know, you Newegg! No drivers for this adapter exist. Devin Reade I can't speak to the actual USB device mentioned, but I bought a couple of Startech PCIe gigabit cards a few months back to add an extra set of interfaces on a pacemaker cluster and those cards turned out to be absolute crap.

If I go into the device manager > device > properties > advanced > VLAN ID and switch VLANs it works and I can access the tagged VLAN but I can't find the damned option for multiple VLANs.
